Our Goal

Li'l Peoples Learning Center will have high spiritual and academic standards and will include the development of the whole person socially, intellectually, emotionally, and physically.

Experience

Emphasis is placed on learning about God and the truths of God's Word in relationship to man and his world, recognizing that the way to God comes through personal faith in Jesus Christ and Christian maturity comes by application of the truths of the Bible in all areas of life. In its approach to spiritual matters, the school will be consistent with Peoples Church and the General Council of the Assemblies of God, but will also be respectful of and sensitive to the teachings of other evangelical denominations.

Encourage

Li'l Peoples Learning Center will be a setting where all students are given the encouragement, opportunity, and freedom to be the very best they can be as students, citizens, and individuals. (Proverbs 25:11)

Li'l Peoples Learning Center is a place where care is given by all those at the Center to ensure that a child's self-worth and self-esteem are promoted. (Psalm 139:14)

Engage

Li'l Peoples Learning Center will be a setting where a child is taught the important values of getting along with others and being kind to all those with whom they come in contact – skills that will have an impact and will carry them throughout their life. (Ephesians 4:32, 2 Timothy 2:24-25)

Li'l Peoples Learning Center and its staff will give priority to the quality and quantity of instruction, and maintain an atmosphere where there is enjoyment between the students and teachers throughout the learning process. (Proverbs 22:6, Galatians 6:6)

Li'l Peoples Learning Center will be a setting where seeds will be implanted to foster the creativity within each child, and to expose the child to a world of song, drama, and the arts so that he or she may feel a love for the aesthetic. (Psalm 98:1)

Li'l Peoples Learning Center will be a place where we are proud to display the works of all our children. Students will come to realize that their hours of labor are taken seriously and are of great value. (Matthew 5:16)

Extend

It is the philosophy of Li'l Peoples that early childhood should be a time of fun, warmth, security, exploring, and discovery. Two-year-old and Preschool children are creative and receptive; the program strives to nurture and encourage these qualities in each student. Planned within the framework of philosophy and purpose, the curriculum includes biblical instruction; sharing and conversation time; stories, songs, and fingerplays; creative art activities and crafts; games and large muscle activities; science and nature activities; exposure to shapes, colors, numbers, and letters; and celebration of birthdays and holidays.
