What to Expect

Dress Code

Due to vigorous play and a variety of art experiences, we require that children be dressed in durable, washable clothing. Daily activities include active and messy play and the children should feel comfortable enough to enjoy themselves without worrying about their clothing. Although we provide paint smocks, at times painting accidents do happen. If your daughter prefers dresses; please put shorts underneath to retain their modesty.

Shoes are to be worn at all times, except for naptime. Flip-flops, open-toed and open-back shoes, jellies, plastic shoes, and sandals are NOT permitted. For safety reasons, closed shoes and socks must be worn at the Center. Shoes with soft soles help provide good traction for the child's activities.

All children must bring a change of clothes marked with first and last name on it. A "Zip-loc" bag with the child's name on it is convenient for storage. Soiled clothes must be taken home and replaced with a fresh set the next day.
